We are excited for answered prayer and that God has brought a new pastor to our church! Pastor Ryan Poelman and his family just arrived on Nov. 8.  Stay tuned for more details on Pastor Ryan. 

Secretary Bookkeeper-Cheryl Friend

I was born in Grand Rapids, MI and moved to Zillah, WA in 1987.  I began working as secretary/bookkeeper for Faith Community in July of 2006.  My job is very rewarding as I get to see God working in so many exciting ways at Faith Community Church!   I love all the ministries/activities at Faith Community, but I am especially thankful that I can be invovled with the Coffee Break ministry, Kids Hope USA and Awana.  

I am very blessed to be married to my wonderful husband Duane for over 36 years and we have 3 wonderful children, a special daughter-in-law - Andrew and his wife Naomi, Elizabeth and Jason, and 2 veryspecial grandchildren.   Some of my favorite things to do are reading books, taking walks, watching sports and visiting family in Iowa and Michigan.
